I was at the register checking out and I turn around and see an attractive Black woman and I smile at her, (I'm a Black woman too), AFTER I turn my head I realize that it's Robin... she was in fantastic shape, so well toned and slender. I bought her book ago, loved what she said Black people about shifting blame to "majority" people. I should have asked what she wore to Howard's wedding over the weekend.

Just saw Brooke Shields at the deli in my building. The are taping a scene at the soccer field at the Chelsea Waterside Park. She had massive rollers in her hair, a security guard by her side, and was really cool about chatting with the other cast & crew - especially the little boy who plays her son. Btw, she ordered a Fizzy Lizzy grapefruit soda, some Route 11 BBQ potato chips, and something chicken salad. The order came to $18.25, and when she went to pay, I couldn't help but notice she still has a California license...

Just saw Sara Silverman at my local $8 a manicure nail salon at St. Mark's and Second. She came in with a friend and wanted to get fake french tips taken off - it sounded like she got them in LA for some shoot or something. She was really funny and nice - she wanted to gossip because that's what people do at nail salons, and then encouraged her friends to get pedicures. She had a really funky outfit on - including argyle socks up to the knees.

She was wearing a black newsie cap, a black wifebeater, and sunglasses—but there was no mistaking that voice! She was pretty in person and was much shorter than I expected! She was walking towards me and stepped in front of me to throw something out...so I said Excuse me and pretended to not know who she was, as I thought New Yorkers are supposed to do.
