    What went on in these gulags is beyond what you can imagine. They were the novel 1984 actualized. They abducted, imprisoned and tortured, and it was legal! If that sounds too crazy to be true, google "teen escort"and see what pops up.(skip the sex related finds) "Teen escorts" kidnap young adults legally and like modern day slaves traders ship them to the confines of the cult-gulags. Cedu, Desisto, Elan, Straights etc were nightmares which grew from Synanon. It's estimated that 60,000 kids are dead because of these organizations, and up to 100,000 kids are currently trapped in current day incarnations of them, the American Gulag Archipelago. I was in one.
